Today saw a visiting speaker Terri Duhon, the Non-Executive Chair of the Board of Morgan Stanley Investment Management for Europe to the school. After graduating with a math degree from MIT in 1994, Terri Duhon joined JPMorgan and spent 10 years working as a derivative trader. In 2004 she became an entrepreneur and in 2016 sold her main business to a partner in New York. She has been on the board of CHAPS Co, the board of Operation Smile, the board of the American Overseas School in Rome and was a founding member of the Women’s Leadership Group for the Prince’s Trust. She is the author of How the Trading Floor Really Works. She came to the academy to speak to the year 8 students about careers in the financial and business sectors and to speak on the importance of high aspirations.
